According to the renowned presenter, the current government called for the mockery from Ghanaians upon itself because it bastardized the IMF in 2016 to score cheap political points against the past government and tagged it as incompetent
She shared her thoughts in a recent post she made on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

“No one is happy about Ghana going to IMF. Gov’t bastardized the institution to score political point against the past gov’t and tagged it incompetent. Yet ended up making an absolute mess of the economy. Also they had an opportunity to extend the prog and chose to exit.”
