Asante Kotoko bids emotional farewell to midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh for dedicated service

Ghana Premier League, (GPL), champions Asante Kotoko has paid glowing tribute to midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh after the expiration of his contract with the club.

Keyekeh, was a matchday squad member of the Porcupines as they won the GPL title last season for the first time in eight years.

The midfielder, joined Asante Kotoko from fellow GPL rivals Karela United and, was very impressive for the Porcupines during his stay at the Garden City club.

And for his dedicated service to the club over the last three years, Asante Kotoko has thanked him for the time he spent in Kumasi.

“Everyone at Asante Kotoko wishes to express our gratitude to Emmanuel Keyekeh for his contribution to our success”, Asante Kotoko posted on their media channels.

It added: “The player leaves following the expiration of his contract with the club.”

Asante Kotoko also wished Keyekeh the very best for the future as he leaves to pursue his interests elsewhere.

Keyekeh, is expected to sign for newly promoted GPL side FC Samartex 1996 ahead of the new football season.

His experience in the league will be of great benefit to the Timber Giants as they make their debut in the Ghanaian top-flight league next season.
