There was a bit of drama in the studios of Metro TV when Sammy Gyamfi and Dr. Richard Asante Yeboah mounted the same platform to speak on various political issues.
Speaking on Good Morning Ghana show with host, Randey Abbey this morning, Dr. Richard Asante Yeboah revealed that the NPP administration has proved to be the best political party in Ghana’s history. He made it clear that NPP has created a lot of jobs and has given several entrepreneurial opportunities to the youth. He urged Ghanaians to help keep the NPP in power for long because more “goodies” are on the way.
Sammy Gyamfi, National Communication Officer for the NDC responded to the points that were made by Dr. Richard Yeboah. Sammy made it clear to Richard Yeboah that he should apologize for saying that the Akufo Addo led administration has created more jobs than any administration.Â
“You are here, in the studios of Randy Abbey, talking about; we are creating jobs. What jobs have you created? You need to apologize for that statement. You must apologize. I am serious. What jobs have you created” he said.
Sammy Gyamfi went ahead and made it clear that the NPP government has created no jobs at all. He added that the jobs the NPP said they have created was the NABCO which have even collapsed. He added that any communicator who says the NPP has created jobs doesn’t know the meaning of “jobs”
“What jobs have you created. For nine months, you have not paid NABCO beneficiaries. Today the unemployment rate which stood at 8.4% in 2016/2017 has worsen to 13.4%. What jobs have you created. Show me one program of this government meaningful and sustainable jobs at least 50,000” he added
