Sarkodie rates Daddy Lumba as one of Ghana’s finest musicians » ™

Multiple award-winning rapper Micheal Owusu known as Sarkodie has praised legendary artist Daddy Lumba for his contribution to the music industry.

Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu has been in the music industry for over three decades and has been consistent since he came into the music scene. The legendary artist is one of the artists who has contributed to the music industry.

Sarkodie has described Daddy Lumba as one of the finest artists in Ghana who has put Ghana on the map with his songs. According to him, Daddy Lumba paved the way for the young artists in Ghana to gain recognition and needs to be praised and celebrated.

“Lumba is always Lumba. Let him cough into a microphone and it will be a different thing else. He is a great musician and we need to adore him” said Sarkodie on Asempa news.

Apart from Daddy Lumba who has been a great asset to the music industry and Ghana as a whole, there are also key artists who have also contributed to the development of the music industry. Key artists like  Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi, Nana Ampadu (late), and Paapa Yankson, amongst others.

Daddy Lumba has a lot of songs to his name. Songs like Theresa, Sika sem, Bribri gyigyi wu, Mensei da, Aben wa ha, 111666, and many others became household songs.
