The one-week observation date for the late Ghanaian actor, Stephen Prince Yawson who is widely known in showbiz as Waakye has been announced.
Waakye sadly passed away on August 2 after battling illness and after his death, many Ghanaians have shared some fond memories of him.
His family has had several meetings and so far, the family has come out with a day for his one-week observation.
The ceremony will be held on August 26 at the Accra Tourism Information Center. See the poster attached;
His death came a few months after the actor personally confirmed to have suffered from an illness but God intervened and healed him completely.
He was then ordained as a Reverend Minister in April 2021. He attended a Bible school in Accra for his new religious role after he officially bowed out of the movie industry.
It is rather unfortunate that the actor was reported to have died and it is rumored that the illness the actor claimed to have been healed from was the same illness that took his life today.
