Ask Ghana’s Vice Prez Dr Bawumia To Resign First Before Alan Cash – Kumasi Residents To Opooman

A cross section of residents within the Ashanti Region have expressed anger about the statement in which the former Presiding Member of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Hon Abraham Boadi (aka Opooman) allegedly made at a Kumasi based radio station, Abusua Fm on the Trade Minister Mr Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng (aka Allan Cash).

The former Presiding Member was reported to have demanded from the Trade Minister Allan Cash to resign from his position and engage himself in active politics if he wanted to archieve positive results on his presidential ambition in 2024.

A statement the residents noted, was made in a bad taste since nobody has employed Abraham Boadi to act as a Public Relations Officer or Adviser for the Trade Minister.

The Correspondent gathered during the phone in calls from the same Abusua Fm which Opooman made the statement that though Opooman claimed to be an ardent supporter of Allan Cash his claim was treated with contempt.

Kofi Agyeman calling from Kumasi Krofrom wanted to know from Opooman about what crime that Allan Cash had committed to compel him (Opooman) to say that he would arrange 50 buses to the Trade Ministry in Accra to remove Allan Cash from office if by September 15 2022 Mr Kyeremanteng failed to resign.

An Obuasi caller Adu Mensah charged sympathisers of Npp to treat Opooman with contempt since he doesn’t understand the game of politics.

That was not all, in a related program at Solid Fm in Kumasi a caller from Offinso Alex Marfo charged Opooman to first ask the Vice President Dr Bawumia to resign and engage in active politics towards his presidential ambition in 2024.

The Vice President is ruling the country and it would sound prudent if Abraham Boadi first advises him to resign and engage in active politics to enable him (Dr Bawumia) remain at post.

The Member of Parliament Hon.Kwabena Agyepong, Agriculture Minster Dr Akoto among other bigwigs in the Npp have equally expressed interest to join in the fray of the Npp flagbearer ship race just like how Dr Bawumia and Allan Cash have also declared their intentions.

The callers were however critical of the statement of Opooman on why he failed to extend challenge to the aforementioned politicians to also resign but found it appropriate to ask only Allan Cash to resign.

We are leaving everything to the public to form their own judgement as we wait patiently for the former Presiding Member on the day he would move his 50 buses to Accra and unseat Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng, a caller Godfrey Nkrumah told Solid 103.7 Fm listeners in Kumasi.
