The National Communication Officer for NDC Sammy Gyamfi speaking on Adom Fm this morning has revealed a lot of secrets about the free SHS. He revealed the party that introduced the free Senior High School Policy.
According to him, National Democratic Congress started the free SHS and not Nana Addo as he always claimed. Well, Free SHS was part of the policies NDC added to the 1992 Constitution. To make sure it functions well we started in some of the regions at Nothern and other places to see how it works.
After some years of its effectiveness, Mahama planned to build classroom blocks and dormitories in most Senior High schools. This was the vision of Mahama because when the Free SHS is generally introduced in Senior high schools it will enroll many students because of the free SHS policy.
Though it was not something bad for Nana Addo to finally made it general but he failed to run it properly as it was planned by the National Democratic Congres. He should have listened to the advice.
