In what could be a difficult task facing the NPP in the 2024 election even in their strongholds, data from Dome-Kwabenya shows a large proportion of NPP sympathizers defecting to vote for the opposition candidate in 2024 elections regardless of who the NPP chooses in their primaries.
However, the data suggests that in the race between Dr. Bawumia v John Mahama, Dr. Bawumia now attracts 56% of NPP voters compared with 89% in February, a drop of 33%. John Mahama now attracts 39% of NPP support compared to 3% in February, an increase of 36%.

For the critical floating voter’s block, Dr. Bawumia now attracts 28%, compared to 49% in February, a drop of 21% from February. Mahama is now backed by 61% ed to 41% in February, an increase of 20%.
Alan is backed by 44% compared to 51% in February, a drop of just 7%. Mahama attracts 46% of favorite voters compared to 42% in February, an increase of just 4%.
