Cultural practices is one of the many things that makes a country stand out among other countries. Undoubtably, Ghana is one of the various countries where rich cultural display Vulcan be witnessed and appreciated. Our festivals are always one in a million and they attract both national and foreigners.
The current festival which is been celebrated in the country is the Asafotufiami Festival. This particular festival is celebrated by the people of Ada in the Greater Accra Region.
Asafotufiami commemorates the bravery of the ancestors of the founding fathers who fought tirelessly and sacrificed to establish Ada. The festival has become one of the highly anticipated festivals in the country and has attracted thousands of people.
This year’s edition happens to be the 85th edition. The theme for this year’s Asafotufiami festival is: “Uniting the Ada state through our cultural heritage and use of our natural resources.
