The rapper’s granny, Mary Lokko Aggrey died 10 years ago. Recall how Sarkodie spoke fondly of her in a 2015 interview where he narrated how she died in his car before they could get to the hospital.

Furthermore, the Ghanaian rapper had named his fourth studio album, ‘Mary’ to honour his favourite granny. That particular album was dropped on September 12, 2015, at the West Hills Mall.

In this new post to honour her memory, Sarkodie shared the cover art of his Mary album to commemorate her death ten years after she reconciled with her ancestors.

he made reads; “10 years on and you still in our hearts Aunte MARY ❤️ 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊 … We celebrate you GrandMa”

Meanwhile, Sally Man has argued that Sarkodie will be reduced to nothing if Eno Barony takes him on in a rap battle one-on-one.

She admitted that Sarkodie, who is touted as Africa’s foremost rapper could win in a long run but Barony will give him a good run for his money because she’s a force to reckon with but because she’s a female, people are not paying attention to her.

“We don’t really speak the truth in this industry. If Eno Barony should get on the same track to battle it out with Sarkodie, the latter might win, but Eno will give him a tough time“, the entertainment pundit said on TV XYZ.
