Football season has already started and the member of parliament for Korle Klottey constituency, Hon Dr Zenator Agyemang Rawlings has organised a competitive football gala among his constituents to create that sense of unity the sporting competition brings.
Sporting activities bring people together. Team sports encourage collaboration, cooperation and discipline while having fun.
The member of parliament organised the gala competition among four teams from his Constituency who fought for the tilte.
The 4 teams from Asylum down played a gala and the member of parliament, Dr Zenator Agyemang Rawlings was present to partake in the games. Also present were the Headmistress, Sports master and Housemaster for Accra High School and also the Assemblyman for Asylum down were all present.
The games took place on the field of Accra high school. Luckily, Dr Zenator Agyemang Rawlings was able to lead her team to the finals and winning the cup by scoring the winning goal. At the eleventh hour of the game, penalty was awarded to the team
Addressing the gathering after victory, Dr Zenator Agyemang Rawlings said “Our thanks to the Administration of Accra High School for granting the teams permission to use their field subject to conditions, of course. Managed to score 1 penalty kick”
