Senior Political Science lecturer at the University of Ghana, Professor Ransford Gyampo has dropped some revelations on his social media page that have generated several reactions.
According to Ransford Gyampo, the former president of Ghana, John Agyekum Kuffour is the best president in Ghana’s fourth republic.
After making such statement, Professor Gyampo, who has been calling for a reshuffle in Akufo Addo’s administration revealed what former President Kuffour did when he was the president. According to him, former president Kuffour was able to move Osafo Marfo from the Finance Ministry to the Education ministry. He added that the president also did same changes in the ministry Akufo Addo was working.
“Kufuor, the greatest President in Ghana’s 4th Republic had the courage to reshuffle OM from Finance to Education & later demoted him by creating a Senior Minister position for him. He did same to NADAA and DB. He virtually fired KAA” he posted
This has generated some reactions on social media and below are some reactions.
From the reactions above, it could be seen that Krobea Kwabena Asante, aid to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has made it clear to Professor Gyampo that what he posted is partly wrong. According to him, former president Kuffour never created the Senior Ministry for Osafo Marfo. He added that the senior ministry position was being occupied by J. H. Mensah and not Osafo Marfo.
Other reactions seem to speak about how wrong Professor Ransford Gyampo was in his post. They made same complaints as made by Krobea Kwabena Asante.
