Good news to students in the university of Ghana as church of Pentecost joins their administration to become the first Church to donate towards one student one laptop initiative.
Earlier this afternoon, the Chairman of THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor of University of Ghana, Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo.
The Chairman of the church iterated that the purpose of the visit was to congratulate Professor Amfo who happens to be the 1st Female Vice-Chancellor of University of Ghana.
He further used the opportunity to introduce the Resident Campus Minister of the institution, Pastor Kwadwo and Mrs Eunice Obeng to the University Management.
The church also used the opportunity to donate (30) laptops to support the Vice Chancellor’s One Student One Laptop Initiative.
The Vice-Chancellor, on her part, expressed her appreciation to the Chairman of the church for the kind gesture, disclosing that, The Church of Pentecost has set the pace by being the first institution in Ghana to support the initiative.
