Sad Morning: Government Vehicle Hit And Killed A Woman Around Michel Camp. Check Details

Despite all the education on road safety, some drivers have turned a deaf ear to it, refusing to adhere to measures to cap road accidents.

As a result, there have been numerous accidents that take the lives of innocent people and leave others in dangerous situations these days. According to a Traffic Safety Management report, the majority of drivers are unaware of road signage. As a result, some drivers violate speed limits, resulting in serious accidents.

On Thursday morning, August 4, 2022, a speeding vehicle, which was identified as a Ghana Immigration Service vehicle, hit a woman and killed her instantly at Afienya-Michel Camp road.

Okay FM posted images on their Facebook page showing a white Nissan pickup, a Ghana Immigration Service vehicle with the registration number GI-266, parked on the side of the road with slight deformation.

Per the post, Ghana Police Service personnel have also reached the scene to help control the situation, as the accident initially caused a traffic jam, but police responded quickly to restore order on the route.

Many on social media didn’t take it easy on the driver since a lot believed it was his carelessness that resulted in the incident.

Nana Kwabena Dorku, under the post reacted, saying, “I started driving not too long ago, just about 2 years ago, and I can say that government officials drive carelessly and INCONSIDERATE even more than armed robbers, except the ECG cars.
