A group of residents in Samereboi in the Western Region who call themselves as Concerned Youth Group of Samereboi have fixed Friday August 6 2022 to embark on demonstration, linking their reasons to the bad road network in the area..
They have also threatened to stop all companies who have been engaging in timber activities in some major parts of the Region, if after the demonstration government refused to solve their road challenges.Â
Our intended demonstration is to served notice for the government to realize that we are not going to sit down and suffer whilst our road problems remained unsolved, the Public Relation Officer of the group Tweneboah Goodwill told the press.
 According to the PRO preparations placards towards the demonstration are fixed.
He stressed that the program will start from Aboifie taxi rank through the principal street of Samreboi after which a petition letter would be handed over to the appropriate quarters for attention.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) told the media that they can no longer endure the pains they have been undergoing through in the area as a result of the bad roads
He said several promises have been given to them by the authorities, but such promises have since yielded fruitless results the intended demonstration.
