“I Nearly Fainted When I Heard About Waakye’s Death”-Bob Smith Jnr.(Diabolo) Says

Veteran Ghanaian actor, Bob Smith Jnr., widely known for his role in the movie “Diabolo” has mournfully reacted to the demise of his colleague, Prince Yawson, well known as Waakye.

According to Bob Smith Jnr., he nearly lost consciousness the moment he heard about the demise of his longtime friend. He said that the new struck him so hard that he nearly fainted at the spot.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, Bob Smith Jnr., stated that he didn’t believe the sad news about his friend until he saw him lying down lifelessly.

As a reminder, Waakye was reported to have kicked the bucket yesterday at the 37 Military Hospital after a short illness. He died at 52 years.

Waakye who was ordained as a reverend minster in April 2021 came out some months ago to narrate how he almost died of a certain illness. He explained that his absence from the music scene has been as a result of his illness but God intervened and healed him.

Just when he gave up on his acting career to focus on a new purpose which is to render his life and services to God, he kicked the bucket.

Friends and fans of the great actor took to their social media page to pay tribute to him as they expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
