He Hit My Hand With Live Assault Rifle, Dragged Me And Shot In The Sky – NDC Elikem Narrates Ordeal

The National Democratic Congress youth activist, Elikem Kotoko has narrated his ordeal with a soldier, major Konadu during a struggle.

Taking to his Facebook page, Elikem Kotoko explained that the soldier threatened to shoot him by firing the bullet in the sky. According to him there was some disagreement with him using a parcel of land under high tension right in front of my land for commercial purpose.

“This soldier (major Konadu) threatened to shoot me by firing warning shoots because I don’t agree with him using a parcel of land under high tension right in front of my land for commercial purpose. He hit my hand with a live assault rifle which gave me a cut, called soldiers from 4BN (led by one Abu) who dragged me to the floor of their pickup truck” part of his statement read.

He further said that this was not the first time Major Konadu has done that. He revealed that he did that in the neighborhood against an employee of kofi job. He fired a warning shot with the gun pointing to the ground. 

He has since reported the case to the Ghana police service and other human rights organisations
