Sad News: Fatal Accident Leaves Pregnant Woman Dead.

The fight against road accident in Ghana has been a very dicey one. The number of people who have lost their lives to these road accidents which happen on our roads are more than 50 thousand. The Ghana Road Commission has put in place various measures to reduce the rate of road accidents in Ghana but it seems nothing stops it.

Just this morning, a 38 year old pregnant woman has been confirmed dead after involving in a terrible accident on the Assin South road. This sad incident happened this morning in the Central Region of Ghana.

According to reports, she needed to be transported to the hospital for birth but since the road system was so bad, there was no automobile available; instead, a tricycle was used. The tricycle with the license plate N-21-AC 1310 went from a bridge made of coconut branches midway through their trip, killing her. The dead body has been sent to the mortuary.
