The government of Ghana led by his Excellency Nana Akufo Addo has been exposed again by the Russia embassy.
According to a post by the member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Mr. Sam George, the Russian Embassy has expressed disappointment in the government of Ghana for attributing the current hikes in food prices to the Russia-Ukraine war.
That statement noted that the Russian Embassy is challenging government claim that they are partly responsible for the high prices of food in the country. He has back the claims by data of how much food Ghana imported from Russia in the year 2021. The details of how much food was imported from Russia give no impression that what is going on over there has the ability to cause hikes in food prices in Ghana.
Mr some George therefore questioned that, now that the Russian Embassy has challenge government claims, what next excuse will they give for the high prices of food in the country?
Mr Sam George said “so now that the Russian Embassy has challenged the govt of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on their claim that the Russian-Ukraine conflict is the cause of spiralling food cost, what is the next lie to be told by govt spin masters? You cannot hide forever behind.”
