TV3 posted a new message reportedly from Gabby Okyere Darko to Ghanaians on Indian Hemp and this has attracted enormous reactions. It is reported that Gabby explained the economic value of Indian Hemp and how the approval from Parliament would enable the economy to boom. Many Ghanaians have reacted to the message as some social media commentators indicated that there is an economic benefit and must be analyzed by the government whilst putting in the necessary restrictions or limitations of use.
Other Ghanaians have not been impressed with the message as they believe that this would be another failed policy such as the E-levy. They mentioned that despite hopes in the E-levy, it did not translate into significant value and the case may not be different with the Indian Hemp.
Interestingly, other reactions stated that the country could not convert its minerals into significant gains and they doubt if anything better could come from this new message.
