The Speaker of Parliament, Right Honorable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has finally reacted to the victory of Stephen Ayensu Ntim as the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party. Ever since the man won, everybody, from both sides of the political divide could not help but agree that it is now the turn of Stephen Ntim to ascend the seat of Chairmanship.
Alban Bagbin also shared in that thought but he rather cracked a funny joke whiles acknowledging the presence of Stephen Ntim at Parliament today.
“We have the newly elected NPP Chairman, Stephen Ntim, who after five world wars, has finally won. That is real perseverance. We have in our midst, Stephen Ntim.”, Alban Bagbin said.
Immediately after acknowledging Stephen Ntim, Alban Bagbin went ahead to acknowledge Justin Kodua and the NDC Members of Parliament shouted “Yh yh”.
They expressed their happiness over the defeat and fall of John Boadu. Honorable Mintah Akando and others could not hide their happiness.
