The Minister of Agriculture, Owusu Afriyie Akoto, who is also aspiring to lead the country Ghana as President come 2024, has finally reacted to the new breed of executives who were recently elected into office. Honorable Owusu Afriyie Akoto was amongst the few who did not publicly endorse any of the NPP aspirants who wanted to be national executives.
Today, however, the statement he made on Asempa FM has revealed that he disliked the fact that some people were leading the party. He revealed that he had long prayed that there will be a change in the leadership of the party and according to him, what transpired there on Saturday is an exact reflection of his prayers.
“What happened during the election met my expectations. Not only my expectations but it also met my prayers. My prayer was that there will be a change. This party needs a change. The change that came on Saturday/ Sunday night was a reflection of a bigger change that has taken place that most observers had not noticed.”, he explained.
