Former Asante Kotoko winger, Ben Acheampong wishes the club would keep its key players ahead of their continental campaign.
The Porcupine Warriors have already lost midfielder, Salifu Mudasiru to Moldovan club, FC Sheriff Tiraspol.
Kotoko will play in the CAF Champions League after winning last season’s premier league and Ben Acheampong says the club will only do well if the key players are kept.
““I think they have a team so maybe they can just adjust with one or two players to add up to the squad so that they can make it up to the Africa.
“When seasons finish like this, sometimes some of the players leave, I don’t know whether they are going to keep them or they are going to let some of the players go.
“As they won the league, I will be happy if they can keep the players so that they can add up one or two players to it.
“I’ve been monitoring them and I see a bright future in the players.” Ben Acheampong told Radio Gold Sports.
