GhanaWeb has conducted another poll on three potential presidential candidates for the New Patriotic Party. The result of this poll is as of today, 19th June, 2022.
The title of their poll is “Who Can Break The Eight For The NPP?” This has been a trending question in the minds of most Ghanaians, especially members of the NPP.
It is popularly known that the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng will aspire for the flag bearer position in the NPP. Though none of these two have openly declared their intentions, ghanaians have high hopes that they will contest each other. Kennedy Agyapong, on the other hand has made it clear on several platforms that he will contest for such position in the NPP as well.
Ghanaweb polls shows that out of a 4,481 voters, 38.52% preferred Dr. Bawumia to become the flag bearer of the NPP. Kennedy Agyapong was second on the list with 31.40%. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng had a close score with Kennedy by having 30.08% of the votes.
It could be concluded that most members of the NPP believe that the Vice President of Ghana is the only candidate to help the NPP achieve their main target.
