Kumasi Asante Kotoko has reached an agreement to sign former Udinese footballer, Agyemang Badu per reports from Kessben Sports. The 31 year old midfielder has been one of the top targets for the porcupine team to sign in going to the play offs of the African Champions League campaign. With Agyemang Badu’s football knowledge and experience on the pitch, Asante Kotoko technical team believes he will be a great addition in terms of player control on and off the field to the team.

The under 20 Worldcup winner had always made in his intentions clear to return to Asante Kotoko one day. Agyemang Badu is well known in Ghana for his huge contribution in Ghana’s football being at the youth and senior side. Agyemang Badu was even the one who scored the last penalty for Ghana’s victory over Brazil in the Under 20 World Cup finals.
Per reports from Kessben indicates the two parties have undergone an agreement with an undisclosed amount. According to kessben, the deal is subjected to the approval of the technical team and is likely to affirm the second coming of the Worldcup winner to the club.
