Former President, John Dramani Mahama is seeking to contest again for President in 2024 elections. New polls by the Global Info Analytics has finally revealed that if John Mahama stands for President, he is likely to beat Dr. Bawumia or Alan Kyeremantemg very well, should the NPP bring any of them. Unlike the NDC which is quite clear that John Mahama will be their flag bearer for the 2024 elections, the NPP has not got it like that. Three leading members of the NPP are all vying for flag bearer position, Vice President, Dr. Bawumia, Trade Minister, Alan Kyeremanteng, and Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong.
Based on polls conducted by Global Info Analytics, John Mahama will beat Dr. Bawumia by 58%-31% in the 2024 elections if Bawumia is the NPP flag bearer. On the other hand, if Alan Kyeremanteng is the flag bearer, John Mahama will beat him by 61%-30%. Now, Kennedy Agyapong, who is also eying the flag bearer position has consistently said the NPP will lose to Mahama if they field either Bawumia or Alan because they are in Akufo-Addo’s government.
