“Infact, This Cleaning Has Kept Too Long” – Shama Chief Bold Tells Nana Akufo-Addo

The Chief of Yabiw who doubles asthe Acting President of the Shama Traditional Council, Nana Kwamina Wienu II, has expressed his disappointment in the government for lack of development and abandonment of projects in the Shama area.

Nana Kwamina Wienu II, lamented over poor roads and lack of development in the area and appealed to the member of Parliament for the area Hon. Samuel Erickson Abakah to find ways of lobbying to bring development to the area.

According to the chief, the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, cut the sod for construction of a hospital in the area yet there is still now show. He noted that as the elderly say, when a woman keeps long at the both house, it means she is cleaning herself proper but this cleaning that has held the construction of the Hospital Nana Akufo-Addo cut the sod is keeping too long. The chiefs also added that the deplorable state of the roads is a major issues to the people therefore pleads with the MP to check on government and get it fixed.

Nana Kwamina Wienu said “if a lady stays too long in the bathroom, it means she is doing proper cleaning. In fact, this cleaning has kept too long. Just look at our road from Shama Junction to Shama town, it is very sad. If I didn’t have my personal private jet, I would not have make it to Shama today. I am appealing to you Honorable, it is true everyone is lobbying for road construction so please up your lobbying skills for the constituency,” he stated.
