“I Lost My Parents When I Was 1-Year-Old”-Fameye Sadly Recounts

Ghanaian musician, Peter Fameyeh Bozah, widely known as Fameye has recounted his journey from his infancy as he narrates how he lost both parents when he was just a child.

Speaking in an interview with the ace broadcaster, Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Fameye revealed that he lost both parents when he was just a year old.

He said that he had to be living with family members until he was matured enough to take care of himself and also venture into the music scene.

“I was one when I lost both parents so I was staying with family members and I was trying to do music, play football and act a little bit because I was confused on what I wanted to do when I was a child”, Fameye said.

Fameye speaking on what has brought him this far in his music career stated that it has been the combination of luck, grace, hard work and determination that shot him to prominence.

In other news, veteran Kumawood actor, Kwaku Twumasi has revealed that it has lways been his wish to have an encounter with the award-winning Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as ShattaWale.

During an interview on the United segment aired on United Television by Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown, Kwaku Twumasi after receiving a 65 Inches flat screen TV, a refrigerator and an amount of GHc5,000 stated that he has always wanted to meet Shatta Wale.

The actor revealed who has contributed to the growth and success of the Ghanaian film industry before its downfall added that he believes he will one day have the privilege to meet the singer.

As a reminder, Shatta Wale happens to be one of the frontrunners in the Ghanaian music industry. His successes and contribution to the elevation of the music industry has been exceptional and many would describe him as a “game changer” given the level of impact he has on the music industry.

He continues to reign as one of the most successful musicians in the scene and one of the few to project the cultures of Ghana through music.
