I’m Ready To Go To Antoa To Clear My Name, I’m Innocent – Thomas Duah On His Ban

Coach Thomas Duah has come out to clear his name which has been linked with match fixing in the Ghana Premier League. Coach Thomas Duah, forgot head coach of Ashgold was banned for two years after a match fixing issue between Ashgold and Inter Allies caught the attention of the Ghana Football Association.

Coach Thomas Duah has however come out claiming his hands are clean from that scandal as he knew nothing about the said match fixing which took place. Speaking with Joe Laka on Kessben TV, he stressed that the playing body and the technical team did not have any hand in the said match-fixing to have been punished in such a manner and went ahead in urging the Ghana Football body to revisit their case. Thomas Duah went ahead to blame the case on officiating not them.

Coach Thomas Duah answering a caller question on whether he can swear on this issue replied in a big yes.

“I’m prepared to go to Antoa, yes I can swear with the gods that I have no hands in the match-fixing. Ban on fixed games should be related to officialdom but not football players and coaches, we know nothing about it and I don’t accept that I have been banned” He said.
