1. Koulibaly passes medical, signs Chelsea contract
According to Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have accepted a €40m bid from Chelsea for Kalidou Koulibaly. All that’s left now is the official announcement, with Kalidou Koulibaly reported passing his medical today and putting pen-to-paper on his four-year contract with Chelsea.
Once that’s done, he’s set to hop on a plane and jet out to the US, linking up with the squad in Los Angeles Las Vegas this weekend.
2. Chelsea Look To Sign PSG Defender
According to The Guardian, Chelsea are interested in signing PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe. The Blues have already agreed on a €40 million fee for the signing of defender Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli.
They will now turn their attention to the Frenchman, who PSG are willing to let go. Thomas Tuchel wants to sign three defenders this summer after already losing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
