Paul Adom Otchere has been hailed for interviewing Chairman Wontumi on Thursday Edition of Good Evening Ghana. The discussion between Paul Adom and Chairman Wontumi on 14th July 2022 hovered around political as well as economic issues.
Chairman Wontumi admitted that he wanted to buy Chelsea because he is a business man and he saw a financial opportunity in doing so. He explained that he is a Manchester United fan not a Chelsea fan.
One other shocking revelation made by Chairman Wontumi was about the fact that he remains the first person to have predicted to Imani’s Franklin Cudjoe that the Ukraine- Russia War would affect Ghana negatively.
When he was asked how he was able to make such a prediction, Chairman Wontumi gave a technical response. He explained that he is an experienced businessman and he knows the intricacies of International Trade.
Chairman Wontumi also revealed that school knowledge differs from domestic sense and going to IMF is not bad because a bad woman can be a good wife to another man.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman applauded the Vice President and Head of the Economic Management Team for his tremendous intelligence on economic issues. He explained that the Vice President has so much knowledge on how to move the country forward and that makes him a blessing to President Nana Addo.
Chairman Wontumi explained that Ghana’s economic situation is not self inflicted but as a result of external factors and the NPP government must not be blamed.
