Parliament Will Not Give Money To The NIA For Them To Waste on New Voter’s ID Card – Asiedu Nketia

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia reacts to the money that will be involved in making the new voter’s identification (ID) card.

According to Johnson Asiedu Nketia, some Ghanaians spend most of their nights at a cool place that is closer to the office of the National Identification Authority (NIA) for the registration of their identification cards (ID) so therefore he wishes to notice them.

Johnson Asiedu Nketia said when most Ghanaians don’t have the new voter’s identification (ID) card, the parliament has the right to hold the National Identification Authority (NIA) accountable because they received the money from them.

Johnson Asiedu Nketia also said the parliament will invite the National Identification Authority (NIA) and sit with them to discuss what led to most of the Ghanaians not having the new voter’s identification (ID) card.

Johnson Asiedu Nketia claims that when nothing reasonable comes out of the discussion, the parliament will not give money to the National Identification Authority (NIA) for them to waste on the cards, and if this happens, their office will collapse.
