The New Patriotic Party will be going to the polls to elect their National executives at the upcoming Delegates Conference slated for 15th -17th July, 2022. Kwesi Pratt boldly sent the party a strong message which I’m sure they will not be happy with. Kwesi Pratt boldly revealed this during his submission on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo.
During his submission, Kwesi Pratt boldly told the New Patriotic Party to avoid displaying a lot of cash at their delegates conference because if that happens, it will anger teachers who are currently on strike. President Akufo-Addo has pleaded with the teachers to resume their teaching and go back to the classroom. He added that there is hardship in the country now and Ghanaians will not be happy to see the NPP do that.
“ There is a lot of anger in the Ghanaian people right now and that’s why the teachers are so bent on having their 20% cost of living allowance(COLA). So I am telling the New Patriotic Party to desist from sharing a lot of cash in their delegates conference because that will anger especially the teachers more. If that happens, I’m sure the teachers will never return to the classroom until they are given the Cola. There are hardships in Ghana and everyone accepts that so if the NPP is seen sharing a lot of cash, then Ghanaians will be very angry and matters will get worse.” Kwesi Pratt Junior boldly revealed this on Peace FM.
I suspect the NPP will not be happy with this because it seems Kwesi Pratt is drawing the attention of Ghanaians to something that may have skipped them. Even if some of them wouldn’t care, based on what Kwesi is saying now, they will care and take a careful look at what goes on.
