Mahama’s Aide Schools The Special Prosecutor For Attempting To Freeze Sir John’s Properties

Today, an aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Edudzi Kudzo Tamakloe, did the unexpected which shocked Ghanaians. After the will of the late Sir John started circulating on social media, the NPP government all of a sudden became very unpopular and the NDC capitalized on that development to appeal to Ghanaians why they will be better off with Mahama as President.

Also, after the High Court ruled not to allow the Special Prosecutor to freeze the properties and assets of Sir John, Ghanaians angrily reacted and as usual, the NDC took advantage of it. Edudzi Tamakloe however questioned the intent of the Special Prosecutor for doing that. He used his legal knowledge to feed information to the Special Prosecutor.

“Tell me. Which of the assets of Sir John are you going to confiscate? What will be the basis on which you will use to confiscate the assets of a dead man that you have not investigated? Have you not heard of the proverb that Dead Men Do Not Talk? So how are you going to ask him about how he was able to build that house or acquire any property? Have you been under the subject of a criminal investigation?”
