Enough Of The Lies: I Will Never Contest Against Mahama- Former NDC Minister Finally Speaks

After Rawlings departed, Former President John Dramani Mahama had to indirectly take up the role as the father of the party, the National Democratic Congress. It was rumored that one leading member of the National Democratic Congress, who was an Information Minister under Rawling’s administration, Honorable Totobi Quakye, was lacing his boot to contest for the position of the NDC presidential candidate just like Dr. Duffour is doing.

This rumor was sparked after Honorable Totobi Quakyi was spotted on several occasions having some engagements with some NDC support groups and party activists in some selected regions.

Today, Totobi Quakyi has broken his silence on this issue with a letter.

“So at this point in time, I am focused entirely on contributing my widow’s mite to the victory of the National Democratic Congress and John Mahama, our presumptive flagbearer in the coming elections. I trust him to provide the type of far-sighted leadership and reassuring Presidency the Nation is yearning for.”, a part of the letter read.
