FixTheCountry convener, Oliver Barker Vormawor has sent a message to the President Akufo Addo following their current discussions with the IMF for financial bailout.
According to Oliver Barker, it is his wish that the IMF tells President Akufo Addo the exact words he(Akufo Addo) said to the Chief of Aflao some time ago.
“I wish the IMF will say to Nana Addo what he said to the Aflao Chief” he said.
It could be recalled that the Aflao chief, Torgbui Amenya Fiti handed the government a four-month ultimatum to operationalize the E-block high school facility in his community.
The president heard this message and replied the chief that if he is tired of the e-blocks rotting away, he should go and complete it himself. Akufo Addo added that the chief is not in any position to issue such ultimatum to the government.
Such project was started by John Dramani Mahama but the current administration has failed to complete it.
Literary, Oliver Barker wish that the IMF tells the president that he should bail the country out of these crisis if he can.
