Ghanaian media personality Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa known in Showbiz as Afia Schwarzenegger has revealed on United Showbiz this evening that Tracey Boakye is capable of giving a loan of Two Billion Dollars to Ghana. The loan will help Ghana not to go to IMF for bailout. Afia Schwarzenegger made these comments when they were discussing Government of Ghana’s decision to go to IMF for financial bailout.
Afia Schwarzenegger expressed displeasure over the decision to go to IMF for bailout. She believes Ghana has what it takes to make things better and not seek for remedy from IMF.
Even though she supported the introduction of Free Senior High School policy but that should not prevent her from speaking to the issue of IMF financial bailout. She things political office holders could do better with the resources available to Ghana.
“I wonder why we are going to IMF.” Afia Schwarzenegger retorted.
Government of Ghana had commenced discussions with International Monetary Fund, IMF, over the a financial bailout. Ghanaians are yet to know the conditions that will be hinged on the discussions.
