Kalmar are undefeated in the previous four league fixtures, but they need to start winning on a regular basis if they are to represent Sweden in European competitions next term. Head coach Henrik Rydstrom is unlikely to make changes to the team that shared the spoils with Helsingborg as he has no fresh selection worries.
Hacken vs Mjallby.
Hacken will be looking to retain top position in the standings when they take on Mjallby on Matchday 13. The league leaders head into the match following back-to-back draws with Hammarby and Elfsborg, and, no doubt, they want to return to winning ways as soon as possible. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team, but both Sadiq and Turgott are pushing for a start.
Elfsborg vs AIK.
Boras Arena will host Sunday’s Allsvenskan game between Elfsborg and AIK, the two top-table sides. Elfsborg have been in a fine form of late, with the team sharing the spoils with both Norrkoping and Hacken, while beating Goteborg and Varberg. Jimmy Thelin’s troops are five points behind the Conference League berth, but this game will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. Jimmy Thelin should have a full squad to choose from this time out.
