Ghanaian journalist who works with TV XYZ and Power FM has finally revealed strange secrets about why finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta doesn’t want to resign from office. There have been strong calls for Ken Ofori-Atta to resign as the finance minister and those calls have been led by former President John Mahama.
John Mahama and others have revealed that Ken Ofori-Atta needs to be sacked by President Akufo-Addo or he resigns himself because he has mismanaged the economy. Okatakyie Afrifa during his submission on TV XYZ revealed that indeed Ken Ofori-Atta needs to resign because he has done a disservice to this nation. He revealed that Ofori-Atta is scared to resign because he knows the next finance minister will ensure he goes to prison. After all, the books are very bad.
“ The truth is, how can someone who has mismanaged this economy still lead the negotiations with IMF? He said going to IMF has dire consequences and so why will he still lead the negotiations? Other leaders in other countries have resigned for very small reasons than this but Ken Ofori-Atta doesn’t want to resign. But you know why that is so? It is because the next finance minister will ensure Ofori-Atta goes to prison that is why he doesn’t want to resign. He knows the books are very bad.” Okatakyie Afrifa boldly revealed this.
