Inaki Williams had some few words for Ghanaians as he granted his first interview in Ghana with TV3 after nationality switch. Inaki Williams recently announced his nationality switch from Spain to Ghana and so he will be able to represent Ghana Black Stars in any competition if he is called upon. During his first interview with Tv3’s Juliet Bawuah, Inaki talked about several things.
Inaki revealed that his mummy was scared that he’s going to play for Black Stars but now, she is very happy with his decision. He also revealed that even though Ghana is in a difficult group when it comes to the 2022 World Cup, the team will do anything to qualify out of the group.
“It’s very special for Ghana to qualify for Qatar. I think anything can happen. I think it is a difficult group. It is not going to be easy for Ghana but I think the team is going to do everything to qualify for the next round.”
“My mum knows the pressure and she is protective of her kids. She is excited [now] because all the people I know keep telling me [to play for] Black Stars. She was scared because I am her kid but when I came here and she heard the people me for Black Stars, she is now very happy.” Inaki Williams boldly revealed this to Juliet Bawuah.
Lastly, Inaki Williams mentioned that he’s going to work hard to put smiles on the faces of Ghanaians if he’s called upon to serve the Black Stars.
“This moment is coming. I am going to work hard to raise the flag high. I am going to do everything for Black Stars and make all the people smile with me.” He added.
