Berekum SHS Insecurity: stray animals and residents gain illegal entry to the school.

The headmaster of the Berekum school has called on government assistance and alumni to come to the aid of the school.

In an interview On Adom TV yesterday, the school’s headmaster, Stephen Kofi Afi, explained that because there is no barrier, students frequently leave unannounced during school hours. He added that initially, a forest was located behind the school and was utilized as a fence to keep out intruders and safeguard students. However, as a result of the ongoing road construction by the government, the school is currently exposed due to the clearing of the woodland. As a result, locals began using the school as a shortcut to get where they needed to go. Some even arrive and cause mayhem.

This was shared on Adom TV official Instagram page.

He took advantage of the occasion to request assistance from the government in building a fence to safeguard the students. Additionally, he requested alumni and government support for the current initiative being run by the school to build bungalows for teachers as some funds have already been raised.
