Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, the agitated hiplife grandpapa intimated that he has filmed his own documentary about his music journey dubbed “Living The Hiplife”, but he has been unable to get this content broadcasted for Ghanaians to watch.

He claims to have approached a number of media houses so many times but for one reason or the other, they have refused to make public such important content.

Reggie also added that the documentary was shot by a professor in New York City and he even wrote down a book to tell the story behind the Hiplife music genre but he has been snubbed despite his numerous approach to get this documentary aired.

He made this submission in reaction to a Netflix Afrobeat documentary done by the Nigerian lawyer and filmmaker, Ayo Shonaiya where he explained the history behind the Afrobeat music genre and the real originators of Afrobeat.

Reggie Rockstone who sounded very displeased also insinuated that his “Living The Hiplife” documentary is far better than the Afrobeat documentary yet his documentary has been snubbed by his own countrymen.
