After the media brought to light how Agric Minister Owusu Afriyie Akoto lied to Ghanaians and the entire nation over his claim that he bought 100 cedis worth of foodstuff at a store, Captain Smart stepped up to demolish him. Captain speaking on Onua Morning show “Maakye”, Mr. Akoto proved he bought such products as, maize, yam, cassava, oil, pack of water, and more for just 100 cedis.
The challenge has left many asking why Captain Smart is now taking up issues that seem not in his purview? Is it because Mr. Akoto insulted him? Or does he have some ulterior motive? Well, let’s find out.
According to Captain he can’t sit down and allow the Agric Minister to lied to Ghanaians while you can’t get those kinds of stuff anywhere in Ghana with that amount. If he wants to prove to Ghanaians they should go to the market together with that amount and see if they will get the same foodstuffs.
