In their semi final game they played against Uruguay, the game was interesting. In the first 20 minutes of the game Diego Forlan of Uruguay took the lead, and in the 39 minutes Sulley Muntari of the black stars of Ghana equalized.
The game was interesting in the second half, all the African countries were supporting the black stars of Ghana to cheer for victory.
In the 85 minutes the black stars of Ghana had the opportunity to score but Luis Suarez prevented the ball from scoring by catching it.
A penalty was awarded and Asamoah Gyan of the black stars of Ghana missed the penalty.
So they continued to extra time till they played the penalty shootouts, at the end of the shootouts it ended 4:2 against Ghana.
