OFFICIAL: Manchester City Announce Departure of a Player and Other Deals as of July 2nd, 2022

Joined Manchester City in 2019 from Japan’s top-flight outfit Kawasaki Frontale but never had the opportunity to feature in any of their games, Ko Itakura had reportedly parted ways with “the Cityzens” today.

Zinedine Machach – joined Napoli as a free agent in 2017, but never had the opportunity to make an appearance, the 26-year-old attacking midfielder has been confirmed by Greece’s top-tier Ionikos today as their latest signing in a free transfer.

Karim Konate – sparked campaign with home-based top-flight ASEC Mimosas, the 18-year-old Ivorian forward has reportedly been signed by Austria champions Red Bull Salzburg for an undisclosed fee.

Konate is understood to have joined league rivals FC Liefering on a season-long loan.
