Sack All Your Ministers Who Have Presidential Ambitions- Mahama Tells Nana Addo

His Excellency, the Former President, has shared his view on the state of the Ghanaian economy in his latest address at an inaugural launch ceremony. He revealed that one of the solutions to Ghana’s economic problem is that, the President of the land, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, must stand on his feet and sack some of the ministers. One of the ministers, whose name was featured on John Dramani Mahama’s list was the Finance minister, Ken Ofori Atta.

Later, John Dramani Mahama added some categories of people who must be sacked in addition to the Finance Minister, According to John Dramani Mahama, it will be in the goodwill of the NPP government if all the ministers who had Presidential ambitions in the Nana Addo led administration, must be discharged of their post so that they focus on their main goal; becoming a President.

“He should fire his Finance Minister. He should conduct a major shakeup in government to remove the many deadwood that has turned the ministries into their kingdom. Even when he himself can see that some of those ministers have Presidential ambitions… It should be easy for you to remove them so that they can concentrate on their Presidential ambitions.”, Mahama explained.
