Former President, John Mahama has finally exposed the ruling Akufo-Addo government. He continued to reveal the dubious deal this government is set to undertake. John Mahama revealed that the Akufo-Addo government has collateralized all our revenue streams for loans but yet, we don’t see what they’ve used the loans for.
While speaking at the Think Tank, Think Progress Ghana program, John Mahama boldly revealed that the government has collaterized all revenue streams in the country for loans. He also revealed how they want to do more with the ‘dubious’ agyapa deal.
“ This government has collateralized almost all revenue streams and it’s seeking to collateralize more our gold royalties under the dubious Agyapa deal. In view of that, we in the NDC can not lend support to the 1 billion syndicated loan agreement and our MPs are opposed to it in Parliament. Going forward, the NDC will not support any further non-concessionary loans in Parliament. We will not partake in the destruction in this Ghanaian economy which this government appears so bent on doing.” John Mahama boldly revealed and exposed the Akufo-Addo government.
