Ghanaians stranded to retrieve their ghana cards as NIA failed to turn up due to Arise Ghana Demo.

Ghanians are stranded over their inability to retrieve their Ghana cards after NIA officials failed to appear at their post amid the Arise Ghana protest.

The Ghanaian police had agreed to supervise a second demonstration by protestors in regard to the “Arise Ghana Demo” today, June 29th 2022. 

It is reported that in the midst of the on-going demonstration, the national identification authorities (NIA) failed to report to their post at the El-wak sports stadium registration center. 

A video shared on social media shows how some Ghanaians are stranded over their inability to retrieve their Ghana cards after registering. 

In the video, it was obvious many of them were unhappy about the case, as some could be heard talking in the background while gathered at the compound. 

The video was shared on the verified Instagram page of ghonetv. 

Many people have reacted to the post shared online by expressing their dissatisfaction over the behavior of the ministry of information and its authorities. See below some comments please.
