Petroleum products are likely to experience a little reduction in the coming weeks.
This is according to the Bulk Oil Distribution Companies.
The reduction stood at 8% and 7% for Super XP. However, diesel will see an increase of 3%.
Joy Business news revealed that as petroleum products go down, Liquified Petroleum Gas as well comes down with a little percentage. Thus, 7%.
These little adjustments if finally hit the pumps will go along way to help consumers of these products feel some ease.
The likely reduction comes after the international markets have seen a little reduction in prices of crude oil.
It’s expected that over 150 companies dealing in oil products in the country (Ghana) will transmit the current prices to those at the pump.
The current price of petroleum products stood at Gh 11 for Super XP and Diesel at Gh 14.
Further, beginning June 2022 saw these increments.
The assertion is that the government is considering an IMF program to see what comes up with the Ghana Cedi.
