Having been with Liverpool for the past two-and-a-half-year, Takumi Minamino has reportedly completed a permanent transfer move to French outfit AS Monaco for an undisclosed fee today.
The official post of the club confirmed that the 27-year-old Japanese has left Anfield for Stade Louis II ending his three-season spells with the Reds during which he featured 70 games in all competitions of which 38 were substitutes.
Minamo last season was featured 11 times (10 as substitutes) in the Premier League attributing to his departure this summer.
A rising star in 2020 but not given enough opportunity by Jurgen Klopp since his move for a reported fee of €8.5M, the dynamic attacker is of high expectations for more minutes at his new club and to bounced back in form like the days of RB Salzburg.
Fee not revealed yet, Minamino per transfer market is valued at €11M and with UEFA Champions League qualification on the line for AS Monaco, he is expected to assist greatly.
